Pharmacist and first time founder Sejal Patel struggled with dehydrating, skin irritations and hyperpigmentation her whole life, but it wasn’t until her daughter was diagnosed with pigmentary mosaicism that her aha moment came: skincare products are developed with lighter skin tones in mind, even though melanin-rich skin is physiologically different. Calling upon her insights as a pharmacist and her native Indian roots, she blended Ayurvedic herbs proven to deliver skin benefits with clean clinical actives to create proprietary ingredient synergies.
